Join us anytime for this awesome ongoing study! Bring your colored pens or pencils & get ready to learn to dig into the Word for yourself!   Genesis, a 18 WEEK STUDY             Monday - 10 am - 12 am

In these18-sessions, verse-by-verse study of the Book of Genesis, Jen Wilkin explores how God fulfills His promises to Abraham. Over the  weeks we will discover how God orchestrates everything for His glory and the good of His people.  We will see how the God of creation and the God of covenant is the same yesterday, today, and forever. We meet in a home in the Orchards, so sign up for more information. Bible Meta- Narrative

beginning Monday evenings from 6pm - 8 pm, September 14th

The Bible Meta-Narrative is the overarching story of God's redemptive plan revealed from Genesis to Revelation. 

Join us on Monday evenings from 6-8 pm as we exalt Jesus Christ in an overview of the Bible, mapping the Redemption Story from Genesis to Revelation, to include references from every book of the Bible.  We will be meeting in the church basement (3rd Avenue entrance).  Bring your Bible and pens and get ready to learn!  Joan will be facilitating this study.

 Tuesday evenings from 6:30- 8:30 PM

 This is a Small Group Study that meets in the church basement. There is a short video that produces a lively conversation and connection with each other and our Lord Jesus. When we are new Believers, we are to -- "Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation"—(1 Peter 2:2) The Sunday morning 40-Minute Bible Study is a great place to start if you are new to Bible Study. It teaches you to study for yourself. It shows you Key words to look for and has thought provoking questions that encourage you to apply the Word to your life.

The Bible says you are to "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the Word of Truth." (2 Timothy 2:15) Learning to study inductively using the inductive Bible study method, you learn to rightly handle the Word of Truth, and are drawn into a personal interaction with the Bible and with the God of the Bible! When you know God through His Word—you begin to understand and live by the truths the Holy Spirit reveals to you through His Word and your life will look more and more like your Lord.

When we do not study the Word, we can become "dull of hearing," and remain like a "child" in the faith. Not mature Christians. The Bible says, "About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil. (Hebrews 5:11-14)

It is our desire that each member of Granite Lake become mature in their faith. How can one become "mature" without reading and studying the Word of Truth? "But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil." (Hebrews 5:14 ) - Your "powers of discernment" are trained by being in the Word of God. Join us for one of these Bible Studies or start your own group using the Bible as your guide, and the Holy Spirit as your teacher.

Join us for Men's Group!    
Men's Group meets once a month (usually the first Saturday  of the month from 7-9 am) We have breakfast,  testimonies, teaching and fellowship... and sometimes we put you to work!
