Melinda Landrus
Melinda Landrus is a wife, mother, and teacher born and raised in the LC Valley, graduating from Lewiston High School in 1996 and, later, Lewis-Clark State College in 2000. She has been teaching for 24 years in the Lewiston School District, a majority of the time at Webster Elementary. Her husband is Steven Landrus and together they have 5 children, Neil (Karlie), Elissa, Hunter, Dylan & Peyton. Melinda joined Granite Lake Church in 2017 after her last church closed, and then Steven joined her in 2019. She loves to serve and felt honored to be asked to serve on The Board at Granite Lake Church. Melinda has been a believer since she was a little girl, her faith strengthening as a teen and then later, as an adult. She was baptized in 2001 in the Snake River. Her story wasn't always smoothe and her walk wasn't always on the right path. Two marriages, divorces, some poor choices along with the passion and guidance from important people put in her life led to a renewed perspective and love of the Lord. After going back to church and reevaluating her faith (or lack of) she made a choice to put God at the center of her life. He brought Steven back into her life (they had known each other 20 years earlier) and continues to work in their life. She loves to talk to people about the Lord, worship with and through music, and tries to be a good example of His love and peace along with spend time with her family and friends, go up river on their boat, or go to concerts! She looks forward to what God has planned for the rest of her life and for what He has planned for our little church and church family.

Bill Hayne
Bill has been the Pastor of Granite Lake since 2009. He and his wife, Jennifer, have been married over 40 years and have 4 adult children, 2 sons-in-law, and 5 grandchildren. He started as an Assistant Pastor at Warner Alliance Church where he and Jennifer jumped into ministry with Rod and Sherry Benner. Bill was Interim Pastor at Warner Alliance for just over a year when Rod and Sherry moved on to other opportunities, and then, in 2000, they brought in a new Lead Pastor. A few years later Bill was asked to be the Interim pastor for Orofino Community Church in 2006, and served there until a new Pastor was brought in 2008. Soon after that, Granite Lake Community Church was looking for someone to replace Buzz McKarcher, who was retiring. Bill joined Granite Lake Community Church as the Part-time, Interim Pastor in 2009. He became Senior Pastor of Granite Lake Church when our church became affiliated with Open Bible in 2022. Bill and Jennifer moved to Lewiston in 1994 to become full-time educators - Jennifer was an Art teacher and Gifted/Talented Coordinator for Genesee and Lewiston School Districts for many years. She is a trained Precept Upon Precept Bible teacher and has taught Precepts Bible studies since 1990. Jennifer also has a heart for youth and women's ministries. Bill was a professor of education for Lewis-Clark State College, retiring in 2022 after 28 years. "We have been so very blessed to serve our valley in many ways, and particularly over the past 16 years, Jennifer and I have loved being part of the Granite Lake Church family."
